About this event

All are invited to a helpful and encouraging presentation designed to support you during the busy holiday season. Led by Jennifer Sutherland, PhD, we’ll explore what stress is, how it affects our bodies, and the common pressures many of us face this time of year.

An interactive activity will guide participants in identifying their own stressors and considering healthy, practical ways to navigate them. We’re excited to offer this space to share wisdom, connect, and encourage one another as we prepare for the holiday season.

Jennifer Sutherland is Assistant Professor and Interim Clinical Coordinator in the Department of Psychology at Virginia State University.

Cost is $5 per person, $20 family max. Dinner is served at 6:00 PM, with program, childcare, and activities for children and youth beginning at 6:30 PM.
