The Noel family decorates their tree while sharing stories from their past, illustrated by songs performed by the Virginians Chorus and seven quartets. After the family goes to bed, the Grinch steals the presents, is caught by Cindy Lou, and is subsequently confronted by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future.
