About this event
Monti Datta, Host
University of Richmond This intimate Well-Being Concert invites audiences to experience the nurturing power of music and mindfulness in a relaxed, communal setting. The performance is led by The Naghash Ensemble, whose music brings together Armenian folk traditions, classical music, and sacred texts for an uplifting musical experience.
Created in partnership with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute and presented in collaboration with Harnett Museum of Art, this hour-long concert experience event blends guided mindfulness practices with deep listening to explore music as a shared space for connection and renewal. Inspired by research on the relationship between music and wellness, audiences are invited to discover the subtle ways that sound can shape how we feel, reflect, and relate to one another.
Audience members can choose from a variety of casual comfortable seating options, including mats, cushions, and chairs. Join us afterwards for light refreshments in the lobby.
Free and open to all, no tickets required. Space is limited and available of a first-come, first-served basis.
